2023 Camp Creek Outing

 July 1st through July 8th 

 Come join us for the entire event or when you can.  There will be a short gathering June 30th at the dig site for a safety meeting and to decide if a  potluck is desired for the evening of July 1st.  The morning of July 1st the digging begins.  Tuesday July 4th the club will provide a hot dog fest beginning 1830 hours. Fireworks are not allowed on Forest Service lands.

We are a 501 C-3 non-profit charity based in the heart of Oregon’s beautiful historic gold country, Baker City, Oregon.

 

EOMP has no full time or paid staff.  Everything we do is done by our members who volunteer their time and talents.

The primary charter for Eastern Oregon Miners & Prospectors, Inc. is to teach the public safe and sound prospecting mining techniques which have minimal impact on the environment.

No experience necessary, we’ll teach you how!

Our members find real gold, including nuggets, using gold pans, high bankers, sluice boxes, trommels, metal detectors and assorted other equipment.
