The BIG DIG is on!!!

2021 Camp Creek Outing

 June 19th through June 26th 

 Come join us for the entire event or when you can.  There will be a short gathering June 19th at the dig site for a safety meeting and to decide if a  potluck is desired for the evening of June 20th.  The morning of June 20th the digging begins.  Wednesday June 24th the club will provide a hot dog fest beginning 1830 hours.  The club’s annual meeting will be conducted then and best of all, the PRETTIEST ROCK Contest winners will be announced!  

With all of the health concerns, we hope to see you there for part or all of the outing.

We are a 501 C-3 non-profit charity based in the heart of Oregon’s beautiful historic gold country, Baker City, Oregon.

 

EOMP has no full time or paid staff.  Everything we do is done by our members who volunteer their time and talents.

The primary charter for Eastern Oregon Miners & Prospectors, Inc. is to teach the public safe and sound prospecting mining techniques which have minimal impact on the environment.

No experience necessary, we’ll teach you how!

Our members find real gold, including nuggets, using gold pans, high bankers, sluice boxes, trommels, metal detectors and assorted other equipment.
